Our research team will contact you, through the email, with your username and password within 5 business days. With the username and password you will be able to access the ASA24 system. + My ASA24 account is locked. What should I do?

For security purposes, ASA24 accounts are locked after five login attempts with an invalid password. Please email us with your username, and we will unlock your account, cellar@dal.ca.

+ I don't have time to finish the survey. What should I do?

In general, the survey will take 20-35 minutes to complete. If you have started the survey but are unable to finish, here are some options:

  • Complete the recall in one session with breaks no longer than 30 minutes to avoid automatic time out.
  • Complete the recall in multiple session by clicking "Finish later" at the top right hand.

Please note: the recall needs to be completed by the midnight otherwise access will be restricted and incomplete information will be submitted.

+ While trying to log in to my account, I got this error message: “Our records show that you have already completed all your recalls, if you need clarification, check back with the person who asked you to complete ASA24. Thank you for your participation.” What does this mean?

One possibility is that you have logged in outside the start and end date of the survey. Or, if you have already submitted two 24-hour dietary recalls, you will no longer have access to the ASA24 site. If you need clarification on the issue, please contact us at cellar@dal.ca.

+ Will you provide dietary feedback or suggestions after collecting my food history over the 12 weeks?

No, we will not supply individual dietary recommendations. However at the end of the Dietary Recall, ASA24 will provide you with a breakdown of how you ate on that given day.

  • If you purchase lumber from RONA and at the same time you purchase gum or chips please submit that receipt!
  • When you purchase gas, you may also purchase water/pop and snacks. Please submit your gas receipt that includes foods and beverages purchased at the same time.

When you enrolled in the CELLAR study, you provided an email address. You will receive an email, using the provided address from our team via REDCap, which will provide the URL to access the CELLAR Receipt Collector as well as your 10-digit participant ID.

The link that is sent to you on a weekly basis is valid for one-time use. Once you submit receipts using that link you can no longer use that link. You will receive a total of 12 links to upload receipts, but if you require additional opportunities to upload, please let us know at cellar@dal.ca.
